•  Career Cafe - Tuesday, January 29th during Lunch in the Library - will be hosted by Joe Ruth, owner and manager of Velocity Coffee. Come see what it takes to run a business! 

•   Create bracelets using your own D.I.Y. loom at the next Lunch @ Your Library on Wednesday, January 23rd at lunch. Sign up with Su in the library.

•  Sophomores and Juniors: Explore Your Future at West Sound Tech! A free informational event will be held at West Sound Tech in Bremerton on Wednesday, March 5th from 5-7 pm. Note: West Sound Tech is open to Juniors and Seniors who are on track for on-time graduation.

•  Mrs. Hageman is accepting applications for program aides, program aide leaders, lifeguards, and kitchen assistants now through January 25th for Girl Scout Camp Juliette which will be taking place in August 2019 at Panhandle Lake Camp in Shelton, WA. This summer’s theme is Super Heroes. You don't need to be a registered Girl Scout to apply. See Mrs. Hageman or the Facebook group to sign up for an interview time on January 26th. 

•   Any student who needs extra homework help can come to the after-school tutoring on Tuesday and Thursday. We want to help you pass your classes at the semester. Snacks will be provided. Please show up if you would like some help!

•   Sophomores and Juniors - For those interested in participating in Running Start next year, there will be an information night at Peninsula College in Fort Worden - Tuesday, March 19th at 5 pm in Building 202.

•     If you would like to submit a piece of your artwork, graphic design, photograph, or creative videos to the yearbook, you can send your work to Leianna Kunz at

•      Seniors: There is a list across from the office that says whether you are using a school picture or a submitted portrait for the yearbook. Make sure you take a look at the list and see if it is correct and we are using the picture you want. Email Mr. Gambill if you have any questions or concerns. (

•     Extended deadline for Senior Tributes! PTHS yearbook staff is extending the deadline for senior tribute ads until Monday, February 11th, 2019. Senior tributes are a great way to commemorate your student's accomplishments with special photos, memories, and text. The process is easy and fun, just visit  Computer support is available at 877-723-6344, Monday-Friday from 5:30 am-5:30 pm.

•     Seniors! Yearbook is looking for young child or baby photos from the class of 2019. Send in ones you like to and you may be featured in the yearbook.

•     Yearbook deadlines:

  • Senior Tributes - Monday, February 11

•   Need help with college applications? Financial aid? Registering for the SAT or ACT? Mrs. Gard and Ms. Dow will be available for college help in the Library after school on Tuesdays.

Wrestling – Wednesday, January 23 – Senior recognition will be 20 minutes before the 6:15 pm match

Boys’ Basketball – Friday, January 25 – Senior recognition will be 20 minutes before the 7 pm game

Band, Cheer & Girls’ Basketball – Thursday, January 31 – Senior recognition will be 20 minutes before the 7 pm game
